Carbonara or alla Carbonara is an Italian preparation that is usually eaten with spaghetti. It originates from Lazio, but is standard on the menu at many restaurants throughout Italy. This makes it one of the most famous pasta's and it is easy to make!

Cook the spaghetti according to the instructions on the package
Meanwhile, fry the bacon cubes crispy in a pan without fat
Fry the shallot with the garlic in a little bit of butter
Drain the spaghetti in a colander and add to the pan with the shallot. Break the eggs into a bowl and beat them with a fork. Add the grated parmesan and stir well with the eggs
Take everything off the fire. Now mix the pasta, with the onion, bacon, and egg mixture. Season with pepper and parsley, and stir well
